What's it Like to Live in Millbrae?

"I love living in Millbrae. It's very convenient to get to work either north or south thanks to Caltrain and BART connections (especially since all Caltrain services, including express trains, stop in Millbrae), but the town itself is quiet and safe-feeling. If you live close to downtown, you barely need to drive because Safeway, Trader Joe's, and several restaurants and smaller shops are within easy walking distance of each other. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in particular, but other cuisines are represented as well.

The weather is very comfortable even when considering the pleasant weather throughout the Bay Area: temperatures are cooler in the summer than cities further south, but the fog isn't as oppressive as more northern cities. The only complaint I have is that airport and rail noise can be a bit loud, but the pros far outweight the cons." -

Millbrae is served by top-rated public schools, community organizations, and cultural institutions, providing unparalleled opportunities for education, enrichment, and personal growth.
